Beyonce

Beyonce is a really famous singer that is getting more recognized each year. As a girl, Beyonce loved to sing and wanted to be a singer. She would sing at her church every Sunday. Around 1990, she auditioned for an all girl singing group, Destiny's Child. Since than, she has gotten famous by singing with other famous singers, like Jay Z, or making a new hit single.
Beyonce and Destiny's Child were instantly popular after their first hit song "No, No, No." They impressed all critics. Later they had three top ten hits with "Jumpin, Jumpin," "Say My Name," and "Bills, Bills, Bills." Shortly after the annoucement of five grammy awards nominations at the 2001 awards show, two members of Destiny's Child left the group and management struggled. The group was now a trio. After their new hit album "Servivor," they were able to manage. Later the group decided to try their hands at solo careers. Since than, Beyonce has done a great job with making awesome music and always impresses her fans.

A New Member of the Touhy Family

Around 2004, in TN. the Touhy family were on their way home on a dark and rainy night. While they were driving, they spotted Michael Ohre, or "Big Mike" walking in the rain. The family took him in and gave him a chance. They taught him how to play football and never realized how well he plays. He later makes it to the NFL and adopts to his new family. "I don't wanna go anywhere else," he says.
The family took care of Michael. They gave him warm clothes, food, shelter, and a family, something he never had. The family really changed him. He graduated which helped him become more social. But Michael also changed the family. At a previous conversation with LeighAnne and her friends, they said " That boy is changing your life."

She replied,"No, he's changing mine." At the end of the movie, Michael graduates high school and goes of to college at Ole' Miss. The family says good bye and watches as Michael walks towards his future.

Dear Mr. Miller,

When I get home from school, I listen to music to calm me down. Most of my songs in my computer are by Beyonce. She's a really talented 29 year old woman who sings very well. I love her songs. She has won many grammy awards and sang many hit singles. She is an awesome singer. She has worked very hard to be where she is today.
Beyonce was very young when she auditoned for an all girls singing group, Destiny's Child. She was only 8. They became one of the best top female artists in 1999 with their songs, "Jumpin, Jumpin", "Say My Name", and "Bills, Bills, Bills". The quartet of singers eventually turned into a trio who is known for their hit songs "Survivor" and "Bootylicious". Later, in 2001, the two other girls left Beyonce. She later had her first album and a hit song with Jay Z. This is why I want to write about about her. She has progressed so much since she was a young girl. She went to an all girls group lead singer to a singer, model, and actress.
I would want to write an article about her because I know that a lot of kids and adults like her and her music. Many people may see her as a role model. In my 700 to 1000 word article, I would include posters of Beyonce with artests who sang with her, like Destiny's Child, Jay Z, or just by herself. I would also include the lyrics to some of her famous songs like, "If I Were a Boy" or "Halo" so people can sing along. I think if you choose my article that many people are going to buy them. She is a good choice to make because people of any age love her music. Just think about it.
Sincerely,
Shantal Yescas
